Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, our team will warmly welcome you and assist with your transfer to Banepa, a historic town located about an hour’s drive from Kathmandu. Banepa offers a peaceful retreat from the bustling capital and is known for its rich history and charming local lifestyle.
Check-in at your homestay, where you will be introduced to your hosts—this is your opportunity to experience the warm hospitality of a Nepali family. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Nepali dinner prepared with local ingredients. Highlights include the Indreshwar Mahadev Temple and the sacred confluence of two rivers, a spiritually significant site.
In the afternoon, unwind at Twins Kitchen, a charming café offering scenic views, perfect for enjoying drinks and light snacks while watching the sun dip behind the hills. In the evening, return to your homestay for a special gathering in the courtyard, where you can enjoy an evening of East-West fusion music with the band Kanta dabdab (if unavailable, an alternative will be organised).
After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Chitwan, passing through lush green hills, winding rivers, and picturesque villages. Upon arrival, check in at "Into the Wild," an eco-friendly resort nestled in the wilderness of Chitwan National Park. Take the afternoon to unwind and explore the serene surroundings.
In the evening, if space is available at the lodge, participate in a rejuvenating 1.5-hour yoga session, allowing you to connect with nature and relax after the journey. Enjoy a peaceful night at the resort, accompanied by the sounds of the jungle.
Begin the day with an immersive jungle walk led by experienced naturalists. This long nature walk offers an intimate way to observe the diverse flora and fauna of Chitwan, including rhinos, deer, and exotic bird species. Wake up to the sounds of nature and enjoy a final morning trek as you make your way back to Chwadi. Upon arrival, take time to rest and rejuvenate before participating in a Yoga Nidra session—also known as yogic sleep, this deeply relaxing practice is perfect for unwinding after the trek.
After a leisurely breakfast and farewells to your hosts, drive back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and take some time to relax. In the late afternoon, visit Swayambhunath Stupa (the Monkey Temple), one of Nepal’s most iconic sites. Walk around the stupa at sunset, soaking in the panoramic views of the city as prayer flags flutter in the wind.
These two days will be dedicated to exploring Kathmandu at your own pace. Depending on the group's interests, you may choose from:
- UNESCO Sightseeing: Visit UNESCO-listed sites such as Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, and Patan Durbar Square.
- Champadevi Hike: A scenic trail leading to a hilltop with stunning views of the Kathmandu Valley.
- Chandragiri Cable Car: Enjoy a ride up Chandragiri Hill for breathtaking mountain views and a visit to Bhaleshwar Mahadev Temple.
