Overview

The Langtang Trek to Kanjung Gompa offers breathtaking landscapes and a glimpse into resilience and spirituality. Starting in Syabrubesi, the trail passes through lush forests, traditional Tamang villages, and alpine meadows before reaching Kanjung Gompa, a sacred Buddhist monastery at 3,870 meters.

This region, deeply affected by the 2015 earthquake, reflects the strength of its communities as they rebuild their lives and preserve their rich culture.

Optional side trips to Kanjing Ri (4,300 meters) and Tsergo Ri (4,984 meters) provide panoramic views of the Langtang range, including Langtang Lirung and Ganesh Himal. This trek combines natural beauty, cultural immersion, and the chance to experience the spiritual serenity of the Himalayas.

The Langtang region is less traveled than other popular treks in Nepal, making it a perfect choice for those seeking an off-the-beaten-path experience.
