Overview

This challenging trek takes you through diverse landscapes, from lush forests to alpine meadows, offering some of the most incredible Himalayan views. Highlights include the serene Gosaikunda Lake and an optional climb to Tsergo Ri (4,984m) for unparalleled vistas.

Trekkers should be fit and accustomed to uneven mountain terrain and steep slopes. Two rest days are included, one offering the optional climb, ensuring a rewarding balance of adventure, cultural exploration, and natural beauty

  • Lauribina Pass (4610m) adds a challenging and rewarding experience.
  • Diverse Landscapes Flora and Fauna from bamboo groves, lush forests to alpine meadows home to wildlife like red pandas, langur monkeys, Himalayan tahr and many varieties of birds and onto rugged terrains with their own unique ecosystems

  • Opportunity to summit Kyanjin Ri (4773) and Tserko Ri (4984m) with unparalleled views of the Himalayas.
  • Chill day at Kyanjin Gompa to eat cake and soak up the views (with options of climbs to 4984m for those interested)
  • Observing post-earthquake resilience and reconstruction of Langtang Village after the 2015 earthquake. An area which reveals the efforts of the local communities to rebuild, giving trekkers a sense of the strength and spirit of the Langtang people.
  • Seasonal blooms of Rhodeodendron forest (March- April). This is the national flower of Nepal.
  • Sacred Gosaikunda Lake (altitude of 4380m. This is a holy site for both Hindus and Buddhists. The lake offers serene reflections and an otherworldly atmosphere.)

Embark on a scenic local bus journey to Syabrubesi (1,550m), the starting point of your trek. After arrival, enjoy a short trek to Bamboo, offering your first taste of the Langtang region's verdant trails and peaceful riverside landscapes.
