Arrive at Kathmandu and transfer to the charming town of Banepa, nestled among lush hills. Settle into your homestay, with your hosts, including the "Tree Man of Banepa". Enjoy a warm welcome with a delicious home-cooked dinner. Take time to arrive and settle in to you trip.
After a hearty breakfast with your hosts, head out on a walking tour of Banepa’s old town, where centuries-old temples and bustling markets showcase the area’s rich cultural heritage. Continue to Panauti, a nearby village with medieval temples and scenic rivers. Return to Banepa for a hands-on tree planting activity, helping us with our “Make Banepa City Greener” project.
After breakfast, journey to Chitwan, on a scenic ride through charming villages, terraced fields and rolling hills meandering along the Trisuli river. Arrive at your lodge and enjoy a welcoming lunch before joining a guided walk through a local village, where you’ll discover traditional lifestyles and crafts. End your day with an informative wildlife briefing on the Rhino Conservation Project and birdwatching opportunities.
Start your day with an early morning canoe ride along the river, spotting marsh muggers, gharials, and exotic birds. Then, embark on a thrilling jungle walk, exploring hidden trails in Chitwan National Park, ending at the biodiverse Lami Tal. After lunch, contribute to conservation efforts with a volunteer activity, like litter clean-up. In the evening, learn to cook traditional Nepali dishes or try your hand at local handicrafts.
After breakfast, head to the tranquil Green Chwadi Nature Retreat. Immerse yourself in the peaceful atmosphere, enjoy a cultural dance performance, and savor local cuisine as you relax into the retreat’s natural surroundings.
Today, take a guided walk through the nearby village to learn about local life and traditions. Engage in unique activities like snail gathering or fishing, and then unwind with a serene sunset canoe ride across the calm waters.
After a leisurely morning, travel by bus to Bardiya, renowned for its stunning wildlife and natural landscapes.
Arrive in Bardiya and head out for a bird-watching walk through the forest. Later, explore a local village and visit the visitor center. In the evening, spend the night in a community treehouse, surrounded by the sounds of the jungle and an unforgettable dinner.
Embark on a thrilling jeep safari through Bardiya National Park, where you’ll encounter wildlife in its natural habitat. Enjoy a packed lunch in the wilderness before returning to your lodge for a relaxing evening.
Bid farewell to Bardiya and journey back to Kathmandu, where you can unwind after your adventure.
